Forgot to submit this earlier!! I just woke up from my nap, so bear with me~ :D

FULL VIEW OR BUST

Ever since I turned 12, the magic of Santa was gone for me. Reasonable, right? But ever since I turned 18, almost all of the splendor and magic of what was always Christmas for me, Santa or no Santa, was taken away from me. I felt that way heavily this year....

I really appreciate the gifts that people bought for me; so much--! (Thank you all!) But looking at them under the tree and tearing open a box and knowing what's inside might as well not have been wrapped at all. I don't focus my excited energy on the gifts anymore- I always turn to the good, warm Christian feeling I was reared with as the best part of my holiday, as well as the additional warmth that I get from giving instead of receiving- which is what this picture is definitely for. =)

No, I'm not Christian- I don't know if I can EVER bring myself to be- I do believe in a God; THIS God, I just have my doubts. So, agnostic I am, and agnostic I am happy to be- free to come and go from religion as I choose.
In addition to the gifts, I hope that all of you guys feel a warm connection to whatever/whoever it is you do believe in, too (because EVERYBODY needs something to believe in)

And a very Merry Christmas to you. This picture is quick, but I hope you ladies mentioned like this as much as I do. =)

Dee, this was so worth the wait hun. How awesome of you to take the time to draw something for us all. :heart: I love it, and appreciate it greatly, thank you.

:holly: And just to add a bit to what you mentioned above: I believe I can honestly say that I feel the same way when it comes to the holiday season. Santa is no more for me, but, if I could substitute in Santa's place I would do it in a heartbeat. And do it as often as I can. Because I don't mind recieving things such as gifts and all, in fact I consider it a blessing and appreciate it greatly. But, it's entirely different to be able to pass on a blessing of my own to someone else. It's a blissful feeling like no other. :holly:

Even this year I didn't think I would be able to give as much as I did but I thank God for providing a way for me to be able to do so. I saw that giving whatever I had made the biggest difference in the world to some people and that's the excited energy and Christmas spirit I was longing for this entire time. I'm sure you probably understand and feel the same way right? :)

I'm really glad that you do, hon! :hug: I could've spent so much more time on it than I did, but I put all of my love into it- just like you did with the gifts that you gave- especially with the little money you always seem to have.
I thought that all you did for other people was just as sweet as if you had done something for me, too- only better- because you were thinking of other people than the usual posse you're close to. THAT'S GIVING. :aww:

Never underestimate the power of thought and time over money and waiting in line. You're a great person. :heart:

D'eeheehee! I'm so glad that you like this! Don't tell anyone, but .... Blackrose was my favorite character to draw! I love how soft, sweet and feminine she is..! I have another one coming for you, I promise! :heart:
